Hermisan will be sponsoring the international avocado and tropical fruit seminar that will be held on the 19th of October at the Hotel Guadacorte Park, Cádiz.
After the huge success of the International Avocado, Cranberry and Citrus Fruit Seminars in previous years, AGQ Labs in collaboration with the Port Authority of the Bay of Gibraltar is organising a new edition.
This new seminar will be held in view of the national and international importance of this fruit and given the continual need of the international agrofood sector for technical, business and logistical improvements.

In this seminar the new reality and the trends of the international and European tropical fruit market, the marketing and the logistics, along with the state of the international market will be analysed. The nutritional management of the crop to attain high crop yield, plant health, innocuousness, food safety, sustainability, transportation and the post-harvest of fruit that has specific requirements will be elaborated on.
The keys to successful crop nutrition, food safety and fruit quality will also be discussed, in which Hermisan plays a major role with its advanced irrigation technology, fertigation control, agronomic efficiency and optimisation, as part of its on-going commitment to meeting the needs of its customers. It is a good opportunity to learn more about the significant influence of the climate on crop production and sustainability, as well as the importance of irrigation in high yield intensive farming.
