23 Aug RIJK ZWAAN TRUSTS IN HERMISAN

We are pleased to present one of the last projects executed by Hermisan. It is a set of advanced irrigation solutions for the company Rijk Zwaan, consisting of the design, supply and installation of an irrigation, fertirrigation and climate control system for a new demonstration field of varieties in La Puebla-Murcia.

The project has been divided into two phases. For the first one, a drip and sprinkler irrigation project of 46,742 m2 of open air was carried out, consisting of tertiary, secondary and drip and spray lines. The execution has concluded successfully, leaving for a second phase the future installation of a complete head of irrigation, fertirrigación and climate control for the irrigation system already installed in the first phase, which will also serve 2,200 m2 of greenhouse with hydroponic irrigation, drainage recirculation and climate control.

The project will be completed with the incorporation of a Nutricompact advanced nutrition system and a Supra control system, both Hermisan technology. Rijk Zwaan is a world-renowned Dutch company with more than 90 years of experience in the field of horticultural research and seed production.

Currently, Rijk Zwaan sells horticultural seeds all over the world. In 1988, the Spanish subsidiary Rijk Zwaan Ibérica, S.A. was created, based in Almeria, today the world epicenter of technological agriculture. The company has relied on the technology and experience of Hermisan to carry out this project, a collaboration that will undoubtedly be a success for both companies.
