The company Viveros California, is part of the agribusiness group called MedinaGroup, which has spent more than four decades continually developing new products and techniques used to grow strawberries and raspberries. It produces more than 120 million strawberry plants a year, and it continues with its expansion and growth plan at its production centre that is located in Geria (Valladolid) and it still relies on Hermisan as its technological partner.

Hermisan has designed and undertaken a new venture, which is part of a comprehensive project that will be carried out on more than 11 ha, 6.5 ha will be used for the Berry production plant with micro-irrigation and 3.22 ha for hydroponic cultivation together with its irrigation automation equipment, the fertigation with pH and EC monitoring, and the drainage water recycling, which is all run by the Hermisan – SupraControl AUTOMATIC control system software

The powerful software will enable our customer to obtain all the information in real time about the irrigation and fertigation process, statistics, fertilizer consumption graphs, etc… at the farm and also remotely.

Viveros California continues to lead the development and the production of new varieties of berries for both the national and the international market, where it already operates in more than 60 countries.
